James Duddridge MP visited the University of Essex’s Southend campus to see first-hand the education opportunities on offer to students.
James, a University of Essex alumnus, was updated on the growth of the Southend campus and discussed some of the key issues facing the Higher Education sector.
He was hosted by Vice-Chancellor Professor Anthony Forster and Zoe Manning – Southend’s Campus Manager.
During his visit, the MP for Rochford and Southend East was shown some of the state-of-the-art facilities the university has to offer.

“It was great to be back at the University of Essex to see the Higher Education opportunities on offer here in Southend.
“The university’s growth is having a great boost for our new city, and the facilities are very impressive, particularly those at the university’s School of Health and Social Care.”
