James Duddridge MP turned bingo caller recently to support a nationwide campaign that’s raising funds for Ukraine.
The MP for Rochford and Southend East hosted a live game at Mecca Southend, one of hundreds of clubs around the country raising cash for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
It’s as the industry marked the second annual National Bingo Day.
Commenting, James, who was guided through the art of bingo calling by club manager Dennis Stammers, said:
“It was good fun visiting Mecca Southend recently, and even calling a game of bingo. I’d like to thank Dennis for showing me the ropes, and for the players for not being too hard on me!
“I would also like to congratulate our local club for partaking in the national appeal that’s raising thousands of pounds for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.”
