James Duddridge MP welcomed a Government Minister to Rochford on Monday.
Paul Scully, Minister for Small Business, joined the MP for Rochford and Southend East to meet local firms in the Square and visit the Post Office BankHub.
The BankHub, located in West Street, is one of only two in the country run jointly by the major banks and the Post Office.
The pilot scheme offers banking and cash services to local people and businesses, as well as dedicated rooms where customers can see representatives from their own banks.
Commenting, James said:
“It was great to be able to welcome the Minister for Small Business to Rochford on Monday, where he was able to see first-hand how the BankHub operates, as well as meet local businesses around Rochford Square too.”
