On Friday (21st June), James Duddridge MP visited the pop-up Jobcentre Plus located on Southend High Street.
The facility has been set up to help people back into work as we look to recover from Covid-19 pandemic.
The MP for Rochford and Southend East met with senior bosses from the Department of Work and Pensions, employers including Lidl, as well as Work Coaches, who assist those looking to get back into employment.
Commenting about the visit, James said:
"It was good to meet the brilliant team at Southend High Street's pop-up Jobcentre on Friday.
"As we look to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff here are working with local businesses to help local people get back on their feet and get back into work.
"My thanks go to the staff for their hard work and dedication."
