James Duddridge MP is once again encouraging residents to support this year’s Royal British Legion appeal and wear their poppy with pride.
On Friday (1st November), James spent the morning collecting for the Poppy Appeal in the Royals Shopping Centre in Southend.
He praised the generosity of shoppers and hopes as many people as possible will support this year’s appeal.
James said:
“It is important we remember those who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we all enjoy today.
“Supporting the Royal British Legion is one way that we can show our gratitude and I would encourage everybody to wear a poppy with pride.”
