Southend shoppers were given the chance to meet their MP on Friday afternoon as James Duddridge held a pop-up advice surgery inside The Royals Shopping Centre.
The no-appointment-necessary event allowed members of the public to stop for an informal chat with the MP for Rochford and Southend East in the heart of the High Street.
Across the afternoon, James heard from many residents who wanted to discuss both local and national matters such as Brexit, housing and the National Health Service.
Speaking afterwards, James said:
"After a busy week in Parliament, it is always great to get back out in Southend and hear the views of constituents on both local and national matters.
"Thank you to everyone who stopped at my pop-up stand for a chat and for the team at The Royals for making us feel so welcome."
