James Duddridge said:
‘It was a great opportunity for Rehman to come and meet our core campaign team here in Southend. He had a positive conversation with our local candidates for the upcoming elections. Lucky for us his football team didn’t receive as positive a result.’
Rehman Chishti MP, Vice Chairman for Communities of the Conservative Party said:
‘I was delighted to visit Southend and meet with the brilliant local conservative team, and candidates who are working hard for local residents along with my brilliant colleague James Duddridge MP. Southend is a key priority for the party and I look forward to coming back and joining our fantastic team and candidates on the door steps meeting residents. As for football Southend played brilliantly and deserved their win. The Gills will be back next season to reverse the score?’
