Local Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, James Duddridge Leads South Essex MP Team Commuter Campaign to Find out What Residents Think Rail Investment Should Focus on.
Earlier Today Local Member for Parliament James Duddridge led campaign effort for South Essex Conservative MP’s on improving commuter experiences in the region.
James Duddridge alongside Cllr James Moyies (candidate for Thorpe Ward), Daniel Nelson (candidate for Southchurch Ward) went out to distribute surveys at his local train station to find out what Southend residents and commuters want the railway companies to invest in as well as finding out what are the most important aspects of train travel for commuters from South Essex.
This campaign lead by Conservative South Essex MP’s will cover stations across the South Essex region. If you would like to have your say and unfortunately did not receive a survey please visit www.WECAREABOUTYOURVIEWS.co.uk
James Said:
‘This survey is a great way for us as Members of Parliament to really understand what the main needs of South Essex Commuters are. It is important that Southend commuters fill out the survey either in paper form or online.
Public consultations are great when deciding how to use Government funds. However in order to make them representative, Southend commuters must make their voices heard.
Commuters are often not in when we are out and about canvassing during the day so in order for you to not miss out on having your say we have created a survey designed specifically for commuters. I would encourage you all to visit www.WECAREABOUTYOURVIEWS.co.uk to ensure your voices are heard.'
