James Duddridge, Local Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East Supports Local Candidate Daniel Nelson Standing for Southchurch Ward in Upcoming May Local Councillor Election.
On 13th January James Duddridge and many volunteers were in Southchurch supporting Daniel Nelson in his campaign. The local campaigns have been off to a great start with lots of volunteers backing the local Conservative candidates.
James Duddridge said:
There was such a great turnout in support of Daniel on Saturday. As a team we managed to deliver Daniel’s Southchurch survey to the whole ward. I wish him the best of luck in the rest of his campaign. Daniel is very dedicated and would be a great councillor to represent the people of Southchurch.
Daniel Nelson said:
I would like to thank everyone who took the time out to support me and my campaign for a greener cleaner heathier Southchurch on Saturday. I would encourage all the residents in Southchurch to respond to the survey that went through their letter box so we can actively work together to make southend a borough we can all be proud to work, live and visit. If you would like more information about my campaign, please feel free to contact me on contactdannelson.co.uk
Daniel Nelson Bio
As a local boy Daniel is passionate about Southend and believes strongly in protecting our environment, protecting the budget of key services, cutting wasteful bureaucratic processes, and cracking down on all forms of anti-social behaviour.
Daniel has lived in and around the Southend area for the majority of his life. As a Sixth Form student he studied at Southend High School for Girls, and would later go on to study History and Politics BA at the University of Hull. After university Daniel was diagnosed with Lebers, a genetic disorder affecting the centre of his vision. However, he refuses to let this affect him, and is now an active member of the community, contributing to local charities including Southend Hospital who he raised around £500 for by riding his bicycle in the London to Surrey 100.
Daniel now lives locally with his Fiancée, a registered nurse at Southend Hospital, and his two Greyhounds Tess and Bella, who Daniel rescued following their retirements from racing. Daniel currently works along Victoria Avenue in Southend and can be seen on a regular basis walking around Southchurch.
