James Duddridge Local Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East supports New Job Tool for Job Hunters in the Southend Borough Area
Earlier today (Friday 8th December) James met with Sonja Fusher a constituent who launched an exciting new company- Southend Job Finder
Sonia’s idea was her answer to difficulties she personally faced this year looking for great jobs which weren’t in Basildon or Kent where some of the National Companies suggested.
The website is free of use to Job hunters in Southend exclusively covering, Leigh-on- Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea and Shoebury.
The website allows job hunters to post their CV (which will be hidden only available for employers registered to be able to read to protect their privacy). Employers will be able to advertise as many vacancies as they wish for extremely good prices directly to local people.

“It was a pleasure to meet with Sonja especially on the day that her website went live. This is a great solution which I am certain will help many local people find jobs in the Southend area. Sonja’s unique selling point is that she is a woman from Southend dedicated to helping others in our town find the local jobs they are looking for.
I would encourage employers and job seekers alike to visit her website”

“Although you might feel I was unlucky with my year’s experiences that is where the idea for Southend JobFinder has come from, so I'm hoping that my bad year will help many people in Southend to be able to find a job or advertise a vacancy that is truly local. Wouldn’t it be great to get someone into a job before Christmas?”
I wish Sonja the very best of luck with her new venture and I do hope she will help many people in Southend find local employment.
