James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, is encouraging local musical groups to apply for a John Lewis Partnership ‘Music Matters’ grant. The John Lewis Partnership has been making grants to support musical activities of all kinds for over 75 years. As part of their continuing programme of support, they invite applications for support of between £500 and £3,000 for specific musical events or projects that make an outstanding contribution to the musical life of local communities.
Waitrose is inviting applications for musical projects and events taking place between May 2016 and April 2017.

Applications must be returned to the John Lewis or Waitrose store from which it was obtained no later than Friday 18th March 2016.
