James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, congratulates local charities that have been awarded grants from Lloyds Community Fund.
The 2014 Lloyds Bank Community Fund helps local people that strive to have a positive impact on others in their communities by giving grants of between £500 and £3,000 to good causes.
The community groups from Rochford and Southend East to receive an award are:
HARP awarded £3000
Southend Mencap awarded £500
Southend CAP debt advice centre awarded £2000
Shoeburyness & Thorpe Bay Baptist Church awarded £1000
Votes were cast between 2 September and 10 October, with people voting in branch, online, via SMS text message, and, for the first time, on Twitter.
James said
