Cards are recycled, throughout January, in bins located at various High Street Shops. All of the cards collected during the campaign are taken to paper mills where they are recycled into brand new paper products, with money raised helping the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity plant thousands of trees.
James said,
“I have recycled my Christmas cards for a number of years now and I encourage all my constituents to do the same. It is so easy, all you do is take your unwanted Christmas cards to a store with a collection box and drop them in the box. The Woodland Trust then collects the boxes and recycle the cards. It is that simple! Make a note in your diary for January next year to recycle your cards!”
