James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, met with members of the Rochford Rotary Club outside the new Sainsbury's store in Rochford.
The members of Rochford Rotary Club were collecting money for local charities and one member was dressed as Father Christmas with his sleigh and the other, a snowman.
James said
""It was rather fitting to have a snowman out today as it was a particularly cold afternoon! The Rochford Rotary Club raises money for a large number of local charities and I would like to thank the members for their hard work and also a thank you to the people that donate money which supports so many charities within Rochford District""
