On Thursday 23rd November as part of the Government’s Coastal Drive, John Glen MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the Digital Garage Team from Google host event at Unit Twenty One to encourage businesses to embrace the opportunities presented by technology.
Southend had the pleasure of welcoming John Glenn Member of Parliament for Salisbury and Minister at the Department for Culture, Media and Sports and the Digital Garage Team from Google to encourage businesses to develop their online presence.
The event was hosted by Unit Twenty One and was part of the Coastal Drive which is promoting small seaside businesses.
As seen by the allocation of £31million to develop digital skills in the Budget yesterday the Government are intent on embracing the possibilities of UK technology and understanding the importance and impact technology can make on everyday life.
