James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, will be the guest speaker at an event hosted by Southchurch Ward of Rochford and Southend East Conservative Association. James will be speaking on ‘Life as a Government Front Bencher’.
Following the election earlier this year, James has been appointed to David Cameron’s front bench as a Lord Commissioner, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Education Government Whip. James extends the invitation to all of his constituents, and not just members of the Conservative Party.
James said
“I am always actively trying to engage people with politics. This event is a fantastic opportunity to come along, meet other local residents, members of the Conservative Party and local Councillors. Hopefully, people will gain a better understanding of life as a Government Front Bencher and have a great afternoon with good food as well!”
The event will be taking place on 24th October 2010, at 12.30pm. The price is £20 per ticket, and includes a three course lunch, coffee and mints. For more information please contact Rochford and Southend East Conservative Association on 01702 600460.
