James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East visited the St Vincent’s Centre on Friday 7th October, to meet with the team and tour the Centre.
While touring the St Vincent’s Centre, James was hosted by Daniel Cauchi, the Centre Manager, and he heard how the St Vincents de Paul Society came to Southend and discussed the challenges currently faced by the Centre.
Following the visit, James said:
“I was incredibly impressed by the fantastic work the St Vincent’s Centre team does to help support vulnerable people in our community.
“I urge people to come down and support the amazing work of the St Vincent’s Centre either through volunteering or donating items of need.”
Daniel Cauchi, Centre Manager, said:
“It was great to share our story with James, and he listened to some of the real-life stories that are happening in our community today.”
