James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, visits the British Army's training area in the Salisbury Plain as a part of the Parliamentary Armed Forces Scheme, where James is regularly embedded in the British Army.
During his time at the base James was able to witness the urban demonstration where soldiers re-enacted what it was like in a war zone.
James said,
"It was fascinating to see first hand how our soldiers handle certain situations under pressure."
"Each time I am embedded into the army during this Parliamentary Scheme the respect and understanding I have for what our troops go through increases."
"They are doing an excellent job keeping us all safe, and it has so far been an excellent insight on how they 'Be The Best'."
