James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, has visited troops currently based in the British Army's Training Base in Kenya.
As a part of the Parliamentary Armed Forces Scheme, where James is regularly embedded within the British Army, James has visited the British Army's training camp in Kenya in order to get first hand experience of what it is like for troops on the front line.
James said,
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Kenya. The troops here are clearly dedicated and the very best at what they do."
"With this weekend being the 100 year anniversary of the end of the First World War we must thank all of those who put themselves in harms way for our freedoms, both past and present. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to do this in person for our troops in Kenya."
