James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, recently attended a Parliamentary reception supporting coastal tourism.
The reception, hosted by the National Coastal Tourism Academy, focused on the growth of coastal tourism. During the reception a presentation was shown which provided an overview of their findings on the opportunities to tackle seasonality on the coast.
James said
“It was a pleasure to meet with members of the National Coastal Tourism Academy. Clearly they are as passionate about coastal tourism as we are here in Southend. I invited the team to Southend to identify opportunities for collaborative working with the local council and I look forward to how that progresses over the coming months.”
