James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, lends his support to British Pub Week. British Pub Week is running from Saturday 30th October to Saturday 6th November 2010.
The British pub is well known for its historical, cultural and social importance. The British Pub Week aims to unite the nation in celebrating the great British pub and is trying to get as many people as possible to see all that it has to offer whilst trying to raise awareness and protect the future of pubs, celebrate them and ensure they can continue to thrive.
James said
“There are a large number of pubs across Rochford and Southend East. I am hopeful that it will be a big success not just nationally but locally. I urge constituents to go and visit your local British Pub and enjoy all that the Great British Pub has to offer, although of course, drink sensibly!’
