James Duddridge MP met with a leading animal welfare charity recently to show his support for rescue pets.
The Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, met with representatives from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home at a parliamentary event in Westminster.
The Member of Parliament, who owns three rescue cats, was updated on the charity’s work and campaigns, including making private rented accommodation more pet friendly.
Commenting, James said:
“As somebody who has rescued three cats, it is always a pleasure to catch up with the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home team.
“It was an opportunity for me to be able to learn more about their recent work, including their Pet Friendly Properties campaign, which promotes dialogue between landlords and tenants to support responsible pet ownership in rented accommodation.”
