James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, raises awareness of The BT Community Connections scheme. The initiative offers the opportunity for community groups to be awarded a year’s free BT broadband.
The scheme supports a diverse range of charitable and community groups. The
community Connections fund has previously been awarded to silver-surfers, youth groups,
village halls, community centres and disability groups. The scheme is part of BT’s Get IT Together campaign.
Applications close on Thursday 13th January 2011.
James said
“Large organisations like BT who are supporting community groups, with initiatives such as this, need to be commended. I would urge groups within Rochford and Southend to take full advantage of this scheme before applications close in January.”
