James Duddridge MP joined a number of other Essex MPs on Tuesday (11th February) in a meeting with rail operator c2c to raise concerns over the new ticket machines.
The group shared constituents' frustrations over the implementation of the new machines and the long queues being faced by commuters.
c2c said it was introducing a number of changes to improve the service, including making more staff available and updating the machines so they're easier to use.
Following the meeting, the MP for Rochford and Southend East said:
"I understand the frustration shared by many commuters since these new ticket machines were introduced and will continue to work with c2c to ensure the service improves."
