James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, was asked by Waitrose Southend to nominate a local good cause that would receive a festive donation from the branch.
Sally Holman Community Matters Co-Ordinator of Waitrose Southend contacted James in November and asked him to nominate a local good cause to receive a donation and James nominated the volunteers of Shoebury Baptist Church.
Elizabeth Stoner of Shoebury Baptist Church was presented with 40 boxes of Waitrose Belgian Chocolates that will be distributed to the volunteers who are providing a Christmas lunch on Christmas Day and also to the volunteers who help throughout the year!
James said
“I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Waitrose Southend for their kind donation and to all the volunteers at Shoebury Baptist Church for their continued hard work throughout the year.”
