Local MP James Duddridge Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East is elected Chair for the Commonwealth and Parliamentary Association.
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK Branch (CPA UK) provides opportunities for UK parliamentarians to liaise with fellow parliamentarians across the Commonwealth.
With a specific focus on parliamentary diplomacy and parliamentary strengthening activities, CPA UK seeks to foster co-operation and understanding between parliaments, promote good parliamentary practice and advance parliamentary democracy.
