James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, encourages residents to have their say on the Rochford Local Plan.
Rochford District Council is conducting a survey to help inform the new ‘Local Plan’; a document which will set the strategy for the future development of the District beyond 2025 which is when the current plan finishes.
The survey is running for a five week period, until 5pm on 10 October 2016, and aims to draw out ideas and opportunities for the future.
James said
“This is a great opportunity for everyone in Rochford to get involved with their local community and shape the future of the local area.
I encourage Rochford residents to complete the survey to ensure their views are heard.”
The online copy of the survey is available at www.rochford.gov.uk/cee and paper copies are available in local libraries and in Council offices in Rochford or Rayleigh.
