James Duddridge has urged residents, wherever possible, to support the annual ‘Small Business Saturday’ campaign and to consider shopping locally not just this Saturday but throughout the year to support the hard-working small businesses all across the constituency.
Commenting, the MP for Rochford and Southend East said:
“Whenever I can, I try as much as practically possible to shop locally in our shops and businesses across Rochford & Southend East. Today, I visited ‘Nekta’ in Thorpe Bay, placing an order for flowers to be delivered. I also purchased a small festive gnome, which I have nicknamed ‘Colin’.
Small traders across our city of Southend-on-Sea provide a fabulous service to the community and this weekend is a fantastic opportunity to show how much we appreciate our small business and support them, if we can, especially when choosing festive gifts for family & friends in the lead up to Christmas”
