A new campaign, supported by James Duddridge MP, has been launched to tackle bullying amongst young people.
Don't Face It Alone has been set up by The Diana Award to aid parents, carers, and teachers to support children facing bullying.
Thousands of young people experience bullying behaviours every day.
They often don’t speak out about it because they are scared of what might happen or they are unsure about who to tell or how to report it online, the charity says.
Their aim is to change this by showing young people that they deserve to be heard and that help and support is available.
Commenting, James said:
"Bullying is totally unacceptable, and nobody, especially children, should have to face it alone.
"That's why I am supporting the Don't Face It Alone campaign, set up by the Diana Award, and would encourage residents to visit their website to find out what they can to do help.
"The signs of bullying aren't always easy to spot, but if you're ever unsure, speak to your child and remind them that they're not alone and you're there to support them."
