James joined thousands of worshipers as part of Eid celebrations in Southend on Bank Holiday Monday.
Around 3,000 people attended Eid in the Park, held at Garon Park on Bank Holiday Monday to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
It was organised by Essex Jamme Masjid and UKIM Southend Mosque.
James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, visited the event, which was open to all faiths and members of the community.
He said:
"It was fantastic to see so many people from all corners of our community coming together for the Eid in the Park celebrations on Monday."
