James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, and Will Quince, Member of Parliament for Colchester, have welcomed 216 (Parachute) Signal Squadron from Merville Barracks to the House of Commons.
During their visit, which was arranged by James Duddridge MP, the Squadron toured the House of Commons to question both James and Will Quince, their local Member of Parliament, on issues which affect them.
Following the visit James said,
"It has been a real privilege to welcome our hard working and dedicated soldiers to the House of Commons with my colleague Will Quince MP."
"It is important that we recognise the sacrifice that they take to ensure that we remain safe and it's important to remember that they too have a voice which must be heard, This is why it was great to be able to sit down and discuss their concerns and discuss how we as Members of Parliament can help them."
