Residents aged 70 and over, or clinically extremely vulnerable, who have not already been offered a Covid-19 vaccination should now contact the NHS to book in their jab.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of the NHS and volunteers, we are on track to offer a vaccine to the top four priority groups by 15th February.
Now, to ensure nobody is left behind, you should contact the NHS if you are aged 70 and over and have not yet got an appointment to be vaccinated.
This means you no longer need to wait for a letter if you are in the top four priority groups.
If this applies to you, there are three simple ways you can book your Covid-19 vaccination.
- Online through the National Booking Service at www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination
- Call 119 (free of charge, anytime between 7am and 11pm seven days a week)
- Speaking to your local GP practice
If you are not in the top four priority groups, the NHS will let you know when it's your turn to have the vaccine. It's important not to contact the NHS for a vaccination before then.
