James Duddridge MP has welcomed the news that Rochford and Southend East is to receive almost £1million from the Government's Culture Recovery Fund.
The money will benefit four local organisations who have been impacted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
- Caddies Comedy Club £180,000
- Chinnerys £55,000
- Southend Theatres Ltd £656,775
- Terralec Ltd £69,000
Commenting, James Duddridge MP, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East said:
"Southend’s theatres, music and entertainment venues are well-known across the country. The Government recognises this and I’m delighted that we are receiving our share of the Cultural Recovery Fund to help protect these much-loved places through these challenging times."
