James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, confirms he has written to Royal Mail regarding the concerns raised by local residents in Thorpe Bay in relation to the delivery times of mail.
James wrote to Moya Greene, Chief Executive of Royal Mail, requesting clarification regarding the modernisation programme, expected timescales for resolution and any other information relating to the concerns that have been raised.
James said
“I have been approached by residents regarding the delivery time of mail and as such as have raised the matter with the Chief Executive of Royal Mail. I would urge any other constituents who are experiencing problems with the delivery of mail, be it in Thorpe or elsewhere in the constituency to contact my office so I can make further enquiries if appropriate.”
