James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, reminds constituents to complete their Census forms before April 6th 2011.
People across the country have just over a week to complete their census questionnaire. For the first time, the census form is available for completion online, arguably the quickest way to complete the form.
If a form has not been returned by 6 April, one of 35,000 census collectors will visit within the following few days. Collectors will offer help and advice to those who have had difficulty filling in their census forms and will supply replacement questionnaires if they have been lost or damaged.
James said
“As we are all aware, the Census information is vital to ensure that Rochford and Southend receive the correct amount of funding based on the information collected.
Southend was significantly underfunded as a result of the 2001 Census and residents must fill in their form before the deadline ensuring we do not suffer financially again”
