James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, issues a statement in relation to the Judicial Review for Southend Airport being refused.
James said
“I have always been supportive of the airport expansion and I am delighted that the application for permission to apply for Judicial Review has been refused. In addition, a Judicial Review would have been an expensive waste of money, and tax payers money at that.”
""Southend Airpot has received substantial investment from Stobart's and the dedication that Alastar Welch has shown throughout this process is commendable. I am delighted that they can continue with the job in hand.""
