Provide information, advice and support for individuals on a range of issues.
Liaise with government agencies, the voluntary sector and others to resolve problems. Correspond with constituents.
Develop knowledge on specialist areas.
Analyse patterns of enquiries and produce reports.
Keep records of client contact.
Compile letters to constituents and organisations in relation to casework.
Research issues using resources including PRU and House of Commons Library.
Assist with office administration as needed.
The candidate should be sympathetic to the aims and beliefs of the Conservative Party. Previous experience working for an MP is not essential.
