James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, recently visited Ipeco. James was accompanied by Keith Ross, Vice President of Ipeco holdings.
Ipeco is a group of specialised engineering businesses. The core activities are the manufacture of flight deck and cabin interior equipment for the aircraft market and power management products and machined components for the defence electronics and engineering industries.
In addition to the production of flight deck and cabin interior equipment, Ipeco offers an apprentice scheme, fully funded by the company. The Engineering Apprenticeship scheme is based in Southend. The scheme receives over a hundred applications for each intake.
James said
“I was delighted to have the opportunity to look around the facility, meet with some of the apprentices and see the fantastic work that the highly skilled employees carry out.”
