James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, met with a group of students during their visit to Parliament.
The pupils, who are studying at Southend High School for Boys, were able to have a tour of the Palace, observed some debates in the chamber and also had the opportunity to have a question and answer session James.
James said
"" I am always delighted to welcome students into Westminster. It is important for young people to have an understanding of the importance of politics and how the decisions made in Westminster, impact their lives and the lives of their friends and families.
It is a pleasure to be able to meet with the students and answer their questions and also give them an insight into the workings of Parliament.""
