James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, attended a National Citizen Service presentation in Parliament.
The National Citizen Service visited Parliament today and addressed MP’s regarding the National Citizen Service Pilots which are happening this summer and next.
The National Citizen Service brings together mixed groups of 16 year olds to learn about team building whilst working with others from different backgrounds.
Young people will take part in stretching based activities and will be supported by a range of local businesses, voluntary groups, uniformed services and volunteers to design and carry out a project that makes a difference to the local area.
James said
“The National Citizen Service Pilots scheme is a thoroughly worthwhile programme and I am delighted that this is available within my constituency. I look forward to seeing the schemes in action during the summer.”
